Celebrating Our 130th Anniversary

$20 for 20 games, snacks and soft drinks provided
Among the many fun and exciting events planned as part of the 130th anniversary celebration, the Development Committee will conduct two afternoons of Bingo for members and their guests. The first Bingo session, entitled “The Sweetest Way to Win!,” will feature packages that include various combinations of baked goods, complementary-themed items, and gift cards. On Saturday, December 5, a Gala, co-chaired by May Shamszad and Alice Morris, will be held at the Club featuring food by Classic Catering, a full bar, live music (maybe even dancing!), exciting raffles, and the opportunity to be among the first to sign up for the coveted experiences.
The Development Committee has started gathering a variety of experiences, and a number from previous years have already been booked. The Committee, however, needs additional offerings ―so, if you would like to host a cocktail party, a black-eyed Susan breakfast, a wine dinner, a garden tour, a karaoke sing-off (whatever!) or share your island or beach house for a getaway, contact May, Alice, or any Committee member.

An evening of memorable music drawn from familiar and famous works in the operatic repertoire will be held at the Club on Saturday, April 3. The esteemed James Harp, artistic director of Maryland Opera, will accompany an ensemble of talented singers and offer his usual erudite and witty commentary on each selection.
This extraordinary event, which includes cocktails and a catered buffet supper, is an occasion that no one will want to miss! And, those who attend the 130th Gala on December 5 will have the first opportunity to reserve seats.
