Adam Holofcener, Esq.: Soderberg v. Carrion

Adam Holofcener, Esq., is the executive director of Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MdVLA). The organization recently represented journalist and documentary producer Brandon Soderberg in Soderberg v. Carrion. The Soderberg case concerns the broadcasting of court proceedings that expose the years-long corruption of the Baltimore City Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force. This presentation will go through the litigation, how it affects artists and creatives, and why MdVLA is crucial to our local arts ecosystem.
