Alexandra Hewett: Shimmer

A morning with Alexandra Hewett, author of Shimmer. Alexandra’s beautifully-written memoir discusses growing up in the shadow of her mother’s struggle with schizophrenia. Despite pain and emotional trauma, Alexandra finds glimmers of hope through her own creativity and humor. A representative from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will join the conversation and discuss NAMI’s resources and services.
