Leslie Zuga: An Introduction to the Mission of First Fruits Farm

First Fruits Farm is a nonprofit Christian ministry dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious food to children and adults facing hunger. Over the past 28 years, the farm has grown into a 281-acre operation serving the Mid-Atlantic region, with a deep and sustained focus on Baltimore City. The farm donates 100% of everything it grows, ensuring that healthy food reaches those with limited resources and access. Last year, 22,000 volunteers from businesses, schools, churches, families and other community groups worked to support the farm’s important mission. Since 2024, Leslie Zuga has served as development officer for First Fruits Farm.
