Marty Schwartz: Vehicles for Change

Vehicles for Change founder and president, Marty Schwartz, will provide an overview of his nonprofit, which collects donated vehicles and gives them to local families struggling to afford transportation. In 2023 VFC launched a unique virtual reality training program for mechanics in schools and prisons. The reentry training program has less than a 2% recidivism rate and an 85% placement rate in high-paying jobs as auto technicians. Training graduate Terence will join Marty to discuss his road to success from the streets of Baltimore through the criminal justice system and finally to financial independence through the VFC training program.
