The Jewish Museum of Maryland

We visit two historic synagogues, followed by a docent-led tour of two exceptional art exhibits within the Jewish Museum of Maryland. Curated by Susan Isaacs, the first exhibition is called Modernisms. It explores the works of a diverse group of Baltimore artists responding to modernist ideas. The second exhibit is titled Upon Thy Gates and presents beautiful mezuzahs from around the world. Lunch will be your choice from a selection of 3 deli sandwiches at nearby Attman’s Deli. Meets at the museum, 15 Lloyd St, 21202. There is a free parking lot directly across the street from the museum. Street parking is also available. $35 per person (includes lunch).
