Thibault Manekin: Larger Than Yourself

Real estate developer and Seawall cofounder Thibault Manekin has had a front-row seat to what happens when ordinary people refuse to accept the world as it is. In this talk, Thibault draws on stories from the streets of Baltimore, the divided communities he has worked in across the globe, and the unlikely real estate projects that became catalysts for something bigger. He shares the hard-won lessons behind how small, deeply human ideas grow into movements that change lives. Rooted in the themes of his book, Larger Than Yourself, this is a conversation about the power of listening, the courage it takes to act before you’re ready, and why the most transformative things we build are never really about us.
