Brooke Lierman: Reimagining our State Comptroller as an Advocate for Marylanders

Meet Brooke Lierman, the 34th Comptroller of Maryland and the first woman to hold this position in our state’s history! Brooke is a former civil rights and disability rights attorney and two-term state delegate from Baltimore City. She will come to share with us the importance of the Comptroller’s office–an office that is often misunderstood–as well as her plans and priorities for improving the office, ensuring the resources of the office reach Marylanders, and planning for the state’s future.
