Tom Filipiuk: An Afternoon at the Keyboard

The piano has always been a favorite among composers because of the vast range of colors and textures that emanate from a single instrument. In this lecture-recital, Peabody student Thomas Filipiuk presents a variety of piano works from the classical repertoire. Tom will describe the key motives to listen for and the ways those motives are developed to tell a story through music.
