We start off our year with an interesting talk by Kate Burgin, The Walters Art Museum’s newly installed executive director and CEO. Kate explores the role museums can play in connecting with stakeholders, legislators and their communities in an ever-changing sociopolitical environment.
The delightful Mary Ann Jung returns to the Club as nurse Clara Barton, who founded the American Red Cross. A true heroine, Barton defied society’s conventions and risked her life in order to help others. Mary Ann packs her engaging performance with history, wit and inspiration.
