Her talk highlights the profound changes that have been made in diagnosis and treatment of the disease, as she shares her own experiences with having breast cancer—twice.

Interesting and exceptionally knowledgeable, Marilyn will share with us stories about these groundbreaking pioneers.
Earl Martin, Deborah and Philip English curator of decorative arts, design, and material culture at the Walters Art Museum, will explore the vibrant and expanding world of art ceramics in Paris during the second half of the 19th century. Martin will focus on ceramics made by Théodore Deck and decorated by various painters under his employ.
